The animal in this picture is from Southern tropical Asia and is not to be confused with the Amur Leopard who also originates from Asia but more northerly colder countries. I have observed Leopards from all over the world and it amazes me that how ever many I draw, I never get tired of working on those wonderful dewy eyes. I adore putting the finishing touches to the eyes, it is often the moment that life arrives in the picture.
