Infinartum is pleased to announce the release of Winter Sunset On The Downs, a new addition to our winter collection of prints by David Dipnall.
Although popular all year round, Dipnall's snow scenes attract particular interest during the Christmas season.
The 24" x 16" giclée print on German Etching paper is signed by the artist and is a limited edition of 240, available either as a mounted or unmounted version. Also available are Winter Sunset, Winter Solitude and Winter Gold.
Dipnall's landscapes have made him one of the most popular of all British artists. He won the Best Selling Published Artist award in 2002. "I paint scenes that are part of the consciousness of those of us who live in England," he says. "My work is characterised by a quality of light and its effect on the landscape."

Winter Sunset On The Downs
A cold day, with a bitter breeze, now from the east. The snow will still be here tomorrow, with maybe more to come. Yet there’s warmth in the sunset. For the soul, at least.

Winter Sunset
Was that the last snowfall of Winter? The sun seems to think so, but the undergrowth still sleeps, and the water’s like ice. More to come, I think!

Winter Solitude
A pause on the track back to the cottage. My footsteps are making too much noise in the dry snow. ‘Crunch, crunch’ seems inappropriate - it should be just the sound of silence for this magic Winter moment.

Winter Gold
The winter sun has briefly had its say. A final, glorious moment before it hides behind the trees, waiting for a moon that won’t arrive. Not tonight! There’s more snow to come.
