Having drawn so many tigers before, I thought it might be interesting to capture one in a playful pose. This picture depicts a Bengal Tiger Cub in the moment just prior to pouncing on a leaf moving in the breeze, or maybe he will make that amusing backward jump they sometimes do. Note the large round pupils, characteristic of all large cats, compared to the slit like pupils of their smaller, domestic cousins.
