Terry Freemantle has always enjoyed painting people, invariably placing them in his townscapes to give life and movement, and his neighbours are accustomed to seeing him, with camera or sketchbook in hand, recording their daily activities.
Recently however, he has been concentrating on a new challenge, attempting to capture in watercolour the subtleties of line and tone in the nude female form.
